Chamber of the Northern Poconos membership event, community Awards recipients announced
ONLINE — The Chamber of the Northern Poconos was unable to hold the annual Community Awards Banquet in 2020 but did not want to miss the opportunity to acknowledge deserving individuals. The awards portion will be included in the annual virtual membership event to be held on Thursday, February 4. Members are encouraged to virtually attend that function to catch up on chamber news, honor the awards recipients, listen to a brief update from the Wayne County Commissioners and vote in the 2021 slate of officers and board members.
The Community Achievement Award celebrates those who have made a significant contribution through a unique achievement or outstanding service in any area that provides a benefit to communities in Wayne or Pike counties. The chamber will honor Wayne County Community Foundation Executive Director Ryanne Jennings with the Community Achievement Award. The chamber will also grant Joshua Keiper, owner of Naked Toffee, LLC, the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The chamber will also be honoring Genevieve Reese of The French Manor Inn and Spa as Business Person of the Year.
