Foundation Again Sponsors EITC Grants to Local School Districts
Each year, the Foundation invites teachers from local public and private schools to submit grant application for “innovative” teaching projects. Typically, the funding is for those things that are not paid for by local district budgets and have the potential to create innovative and inviting instructional experiences. This year, we received 24 applications for this program. (Wallenpaupack – 6 apps; Wayne Highlands – 4 apps; Western Wayne – 10 apps; Canaan Christian – 1 app; Damascus Christian – 1 app.)
The following was received in contributions to the Foundation in support of Innovative Teaching Grants:

Beth Troop – $500 – Writer’s Workshop

Wayne Highlands:
Jason Smith – $300 – Art Project
Courtney Karjovich – $440 -Digital Camera
Canaan Christian:
Jill Droppa – $500 – Discovery Day
Forest City:
Bridget Moran – $500 – Reading Pen
