Wayne County Community Foundation Awards Grant to Waymart Volunteer Ambulance Corps

The Wayne County Community Foundation has awarded a grant to the Waymart Volunteer Ambulance Corps.  The Ambulance Corps has been in existence since 1972 covering Waymart, Prompton, and parts of Dyberry, Texas and Clinton Townships.  The Grant will be used to purchase computer equipment.

Wayne County Community Foundation Presents Scholarships: The Wayne County Community Foundation recently held its annual “Scholarship Reception.

This year the Foundation along with its Scholarship Fund Parnters presented a total of 40 college scholarships to deserving Wayne County residents.  Shown are the recipients of the Edwin Thomas Memorial Scholarships which were the first scholarships presented by the Foundation beginning twenty years ago.
