Wayne County Community Foundation Awards Edwin Thomas Memorial Scholarships.

At the Wayne County Community Foundation Scholarship Program, held June 15, three $1000 scholarships were awarded from the Edwin Thomas Memorial Fund.  The recipients were Alyssa LaFave, Wallenpaupack HS, Kyle Thorp, Western Wayne HS and Emmas Firmstone, Honesdale High School.

Wayne County Community Foundation Awards Scholarships

The Wayne County Community Foundation held its annual Scholarship Awards Program on June 15. This year the Foundation awarded 38 scholarships amounting to over $50,000 to deserving Wayne County high school graduates.

Founation Presents Grant to Communities That Care

Recently, the Wayne County Community Foundation presented a grant to the Honesdale Communities That Care Organization.  Honesdale Communities That Care is a non-profit after school enrichment program in the Lakeside School of the Wayne Highland School Distrrict.  The grant will be used to expand the program to the Wayne Highlands Middle School.
